Subject Line: Important Update: iStrategy and Blackboard join forces
Dear [Client name],
We’re writing to share the news that iStrategy Solutions and Blackboard have decided to join forces. Last week, iStrategy was formally acquired by Blackboard. Together we hope to take a significant step forward in serving the data-driven decision making and analytics needs of education.
Clients have told both our organizations that understanding and acting on critical data is becoming increasingly important but also more difficult. With this combination we’re aiming to bring together iStrategy’s category leading platform with Blackboard’s broader education experience and resources to accelerate innovation in technology for analyzing important data across your institution.
As part of Blackboard, the iStrategy team will remain focused on the great work it is currently doing for all of its clients, with job one being to ensure that there’s no interruption to your client experience, even as we work to enhance that experience over time.
The iStrategy team will also be a key part of a larger effort we’re undertaking to help the broader Blackboard community leverage analytics and reporting to better inform their most important decisions. We’ll share more with you and the client community overall on plans for this work in January but we’re excited about how this work is already being advanced by the iStrategy team.
In the meantime, we recognize that you’ll have questions about what this news means for your institution, and to help address some of those we’ve included in this email a set of Frequently Asked Questions. Expect to also hear from us directly in the coming weeks and you can reach our leadership team anytime at iStrategyleadership@blackboard.com.
We’re very optimistic about the benefit that our collective investment in analytics and business intelligence for higher education can produce for you. We look forward to talking with you more soon.
