Gilfus Education Group professionals serve as trusted advisors to C-level executives and senior client personnel on their most important issues and key priorities. You can expect to partner with our clients to shape big ideas, creatively solve business problems, fundamentally transform the way an academic institution or company operates and work collaboratively to deliver value and results.

The Business/Analyst with Gilfus Education Group would be involved in the creation, design and building of new business models, through to helping clients integrate and operate them. You will:

  • Apply understanding of fundamental industry and strategic issues
  • Perform rigorous analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities
  • Develop cohesive conclusions and present key findings at the executive level
  • Drive transformational efforts that positively impact bottom line and/or market share

2.      Position Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Research and analyze education market data and trends
  • Develop comprehensive business plans for new or go-to-market solutions
    • Construct comprehensive financial models and forecasts
    • Consult with clients in remote or onsite engagements
    • Support new business development

3.      Qualifications

The Business Analyst/Consultant will possess the following knowledge, skills, abilities, expertise, and experience:

  • Ability to independently conduct research.
  • Self-motivation to gather and structure large volumes of information quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate comfortably and at appropriate level of summary and detail across multiple levels.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Flexibility to work comfortably with diverse teams and methodologies in order to negotiate and meet common objectives.
  • Critical thinking for concise and effective management reporting.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

4.      Education and Experience

The qualified candidate will have:

  • MBA
  • Understanding of U.S. Higher Education and/or K-12 Marketplace a plus
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel 50%
  • Ability to travel internationally
