We are currently accepting applications for a strong Project Manager seasoned in implementation, upgrades and management of ERP systems for the Higher Education marketplace. This position will not require relocation, however will require 100% travel.
Job Summary:
An experienced project manager and team lead that will be responsible for organizing and coordinating activities at new and existing accounts. The qualified candidate will have experience with modern ERP systems for higher education (i.e. SCT Banner, Datatel, Peoplesoft), have managed large projects and multiple staff and have seen a project through to completion. Must be able to plan and organize all tasks and activities and quickly build a plan of action to meet management objectives. Must be able to understand various types of organizational change and be able to effect changes when necessary and be a solid communicator who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
Education AND Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or 7 - 10 years of
related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience managing implementation, migrations, customization, upgrades,
integration, training and support of ERP systems for Higher Education: SCT
Banner/IA PLUS, Datatel, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Quodata, etc.
- Experience serving as manager overseeing ERP systems and managing staff
Administrative Computing/Applications) in a college or university environment.
- Strong customer service orientation, including firm grasp of service
methodology and approaches.
- Ability to learn quickly and organize
- Ability to build a trusted relationship with clients
- Previous consulting background in Higher Education strongly desired.
- Project Management/Team or Project lead experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understand and effect change in organization
- MUST be willing to travel 100%.
