Tommy White – Director of the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships
Tommy White is the current Director and co-founder of the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships (IP3), a leading international adult continuing education provider of accredited (IACET and CPE) online and blended classroom courses for a diverse global, adult audience. Mr. White has over 25 years’ experience in entrepreneurship, corporate management, international marketing, US government contracting (FAR & AIDAR), finance, accounting/auditing, and human resources. Since IP3’s founding in 1994, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer and Director. In 2008, IP3 was successfully acquired by Tetra Tech Inc., a two-billion corporation. Mr. White remains as the Director (CEO equivalent) of IP3. Tommy earned a Bachelor’s in Economics and History from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the Kogod College of Business Administration of American University.
Dr. Andrea Henne – Dean of Online and Distributed Learning at San Diego Community College District
Andrea is the Dean of Online and Distributed Learning and Acting Vice Chancellor of the San Diego Community College District. She provides vision, creativity, and leadership to coordinate, improve, and expand instructional programs to meet the educational and workforce development needs of the San Diego community. Previously, Andrea spent six years as the Director for Distributed Learning at Alliant International University, where she led strategic planning and program development. Andrea is adept in understanding new and emerging technologies and their application to existing curriculum. She earned a Master’s in Business/Economic Education and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education from the University of California.
