Jane Hatterer, Digital Media and Online Strategist
Jane is leads teams at the cutting edge of operational and strategic development at education institutions and media organizations. She currently serves as a policy advisor to the iZone, a community of innovative New York City schools, where she, among other responsibilities, provides strategic counsel and researches policy issues relating to State and Federal regulations, accountability, labor, and online education. From 2001-2007, Jane was the Senior Director of Strategic Development & e-Learning at Columbia University Digital Knowledge Ventures, where she worked to extend Columbia’s presence online through cross-institutional relationships and external partnerships with corporations. Prior to entering the education space, Jane provided business development and legal services to media companies. Jane earned a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a BA in Political Theory from Princeton University.
Glen McCandless, Education Technology Executive and Thought Leader
Glen is a former Apple education executive with over 25 years of experience at the front lines of instructional technology and the digital transformation of teaching and learning. He serves as the leader and sponsor of Selling To Schools (STS) an online community that caters to sales and marketing professionals who work in the education market. Glen is a member of the Educational Writer’s Association, the Association of Educational Publishers and the Software and Information Industry Association’s Education SIG and is a frequent speaker at education industry conferences on marketing and channel-related topics. Glen earned a BS from the University of Tennessee.
Daniel Brigham, e-Learning and Voiceover Specialist
Daniel is an e-learning and voiceover specialist who creates engaging online experiences that change learners’ behavior. Daniel executes all aspects of online training, from needs assessment and course design to content creation and voiceover narration. He developed a six-module course for the Yahoo! Newspaper Consortium that trained users on the new Yahoo! ad management platform. Daniel has contributed as a guest op-ed for the Denver Post and taught as an instructor of Writing and Rhetoric at CU-Boulder for 11 years. Daniel earned a MS of Musical Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BA of Music from Arizona State University.
