Dr. Jim Berry, Director of Technology
Dr. Jim Berry has over twenty years of technology management experience in the corporate, federal government, scientific, and higher education environments. Dr. Berry has spent the past ten years focused on higher education applications, distance learning, and software development for a large, national university. Dr. Berry earned a bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Colorado State University and a Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Nebraska.
Dr. Julie Carter, Executive Director of Technology
Dr. Carter is the current Executive Director of Technology at Minnetonka Schools in Minnesota. In this position, she manages the district’s technology department and leads special, district-wide initiatives, such as the district’s 1:1 iPad rollout. Dr. Carter earned a Master’s and a Doctorate in Education from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Dr. Nancy Hopkins-Evans, Chief Academic Officer
Dr. Hopkins-Evans is a distinguished educator and administrative leader in the field of education. After earning a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Michigan, Dr. Hopkins-Evans taught at Rutgers University for several years. She has subsequently held various leadership roles in the K-12 education sector, including Chief Academic Officer (LEAP Academy University Charter School) and Deputy Chief of High School Reform (School District of Philadelphia), to name a few. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Chestnut Hill College and a Master’s in Chemistry from Villanova University.
Abhishek Chhibber, Chief Executive Officer
Abhishek founded and leads an educational advisory company in India that provides supply-side advisory and research services in the education space. His background is firmly grounded in research, analytics, and thought leadership, as he previously served as a Senior Business Analyst at Evalueserve. Abhishek earned an MBA from the ICFAI Business School.
Cheryl Ide, Director of Learning Capabilities & Design
As the Director of the Learning Services department at a software solutions company, Cheryl is responsible for client and internal training in the use of software and the development of client training programs. For several years, Cheryl has been leading teams of instructional designers and training specialists to design, develop, and support online, hybrid, and instructor-led training. She earned a MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, and a Master’s in Information Learning Technologies from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Mychell Sneed-Jacobs, Executive Assistant to the Provost
Mychell serves as an advisor to the Provost at Delaware County Community College where she works with senior management and deans in all areas to ensure that the Provost’s goals are attained. She has 29 years of experience in higher education and business, holding Dean, Director, and Assistant Professor positions at various higher education institutions over the years. Mychell holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communications and Media Studies from Howard University.
James Rohwer, Technology Coordinator
James is the Technology Coordinator at Minnetonka Public Schools in Minnesota. In this role, James has helped develop and implement the District Technology Plan. He also manages the ecosystem of technology solutions for the district and is responsible for helpdesk support. James hold both a Master’s of Education and an MBA from Hamline University.
