We’re writing to share some important news: that Presidium and Blackboard have decided to join together. On December 30, Presidium was formally acquired by Blackboard, and together we hope to take a significant step forward in supporting the full lifecycle of student engagement in education.
With this combination we have a unique opportunity to help institutions support all aspects of the student experience by enhancing and improving academic and administrative services. The full range of products and services we can offer represents a complete, end to end solution for technology and support that can have a bigger impact on student and institutional progress. And with Blackboard’s financial stability and resources, we’re in a great position to invest further in Presidium solutions to increase service quality and service product innovation.
Beginning today, the Presidium team will form a new offering called Blackboard Student Services. This offering is available to all institutions – regardless of whether they work with Blackboard for learning management or not. As we bring the talents and resources of our companies together we’ll be considering the best ways to enhance and invest in current operations to achieve an improved client experience and the strongest possible offering for student support services.
As part of Blackboard, the Presidium team will continue to be led by Greg Davies who will serve as President of Blackboard Student Services. Greg will work closely with Craig Chanoff, General Manager of Blackboard Student Services, who brings a wealth of experience in client care from his leadership roles with Blackboard’s Client Support and Client Success groups. Together they’ll ensure a steady focus on supporting all of Presidium’s clients during this busy back to school period even as we plan to enhance that work over time.
